We had a great family dinner experience at Von Thai. The food was beautiful and the service was great! We have ordered many dishes from their menu and enjoyed every single one. The dish called son in law eggs was amazing 🤩

We were visiting Adelaide for the weekend when we found this gem Thai Restaurant right next to where we were staying.
This restaurant is a must visit, the food was awesome, the service was great. We had the fish cakes, satay beef and chicken pad Thai could not fault it! I only have a photo of the fish cakes! We dug straight into our mains forgetting to take photo!
The space was very nice, good atmosphere however we didn't like that there were many little flies flying around, one went into our food.
The service was good, staff were friendly and attentive. Hoeever, we wanted to pay cash at the end, and they said they didn't have change (the change was around $28 so a bit strange not to have any change).
The food was really good. We had the spring rolls and seaflowers to begin with. Spring rolls were very crispy and light, the seaflowers came in a delicious curry like sauce. For mains we had the Larb chicken salad which was very good. The green curry with chicken and coconut rice side, very nice and a prawn Thai fried rice (not pictured) which was also
very good. Food was great.
For drinks we had an Aperol spritz which was unfortunately too watery, and a cocktail which also wasn't anything special. For the high price point (Aperol spritz $23!!) The drinks were a disappointment.
We tried the sticky rice for dessert which was good. Not the best sticky rice I ve had, but still good
Didn't know there was such a good thai restaurant in the city. The food was really delicious. The fish we ordered was the best, I think. It was well cooked with an amazing sauce along with it. The waiter/waitress was really friendly and easygoing. Definitely don't miss this spot
Ordered a chicken green curry and rice. Very authentic and tasty. Lots of chicken and veggies, and amazing creamy coconut taste. Other menu also look so tasty, I’ll definitely try more next time.

Von Thai was great. The food, service and atmosphere were worth 5 stars. We went with the banquet style menu and had dishes we wouldn't normally order and so delicious. I am gluten and dairy free and was perfectly accommodated. Couldn't ask for better. The wine list was good and catered to all tastes. Price wise all was reasonable. Will definitely be back. Was a lovely evening. 😊
